In a one-sided affair the Colorado 14ers batters pounded the Cincinnati
Royalty pitchers for 13 runs while Rick Reed(8-2)with effective use of the
bullpen allowed Cincinnati 5 runs.
Javy Lopez made sure the Colorado fans enjoyed themselves. He lofted a
three-run bomb in the 1st inning, lined a one-base hit resulting in a run in
the 2nd inning and slapped a single which plated a run in the 6th inning.
Cincinnati was out-hit by Colorado, 15 hits to 10.
Matt Beech(1-2) was the loser. He served up 3 homeruns in his 3 innings.
With this win, Colorado has a 28-24 record. They have been 5-5 lately.
