Rick Langford(1-1) and Steve Rogers(3-3) treated the Colorado fans to a fine
pitching duel at Bright Health Park. The Bristol Blasters eventually emerged
as victors over the Colorado 14ers by the score of 4 to 0.
Bristol took the lead for keeps in the 4th inning scoring one runner. Manny
Trillo drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Rogers then threw a high and
inside pitch that got by the catcher; it was ruled a passed ball. One out
later, Steve Yeager then singled scoring the run. Both teams finished the
game with 9 hits.
