Left fielder Carl Yastrzemski slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Bert
Blyleven was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game at Three Rivers Stadium as the Galifrey Time Lords beat the Georgia
Rumrunners 3 to 1.
Yastrzemski had a good day at the plate. He lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 1st inning, stroked a one-base hit in the 5th inning
and cracked a solo homerun in the 8th inning. Both teams ended up with 7
hits on the afternoon.
Blyleven(5-3) allowed 1 run on the game. Doc Medich(4-3) was hit with the
loss. He surrendered 2 runs and 4 hits in 6 innings.
