Ray Dandridge homered and had 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Royalty defeated the St
Paul Saints in 12 innings by a score of 3 to 2 at Wrigley Field.
The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings. Cincinnati was victorious in
the 12th inning. Floyd Baker lined a base-hit. Two outs later Fred Hancock
stepped in and he doubled scoring the run. The teams had been locked in a
scoreless duel until the 7th inning.
Bob Porterfield(1-2) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Nels
Potter(2-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 3 innings and
