Ken Heintzelman allowed Mark Resenbrink to rest his bullpen, tossing a
complete game as the St Paul Saints bested the Cincinnati Royalty 6 to 3 at
Wrigley Field.

St Paul tallied 5 runs in the 4th inning.  The crucial at-bat was provided by
Hank Sauer who made the home-town crowd a happy bunch when he launched a
Grand Slam homerun.  St Paul won despite being out-hit by Cincinnati 7 hits
to 4.  

The victory was credited to Heintzelman(4-4) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Jay Heard(6-3) was hit with the loss.
