The Denver Dingers got by the The Little Feat at Mile High Ballpark. The
final score was 8 to 6.

Denver scored 5 runs in the decisive 6th inning with the help of 6 hits. The
critical plate appearance was by Frankie Frisch who brought a roar from the
partisan Mile High Ballpark fans when he ripped a one-base hit which was good
for two runs. The Little tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.

Dutch Ulrich(3-0) allowed 4 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory.
Virgil Barnes(0-2) took the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 2
walks in 5 innings.

'I struggled a bit out there today,' Ulrich said, 'but I toughed it out and we
got the win.'
