Pittsburgh Bichipoos won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Cincinatti Royalty at
Cinergy Field pulling it out in their last at bats, 7 to 5.
Pittsburgh had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 2 runs using 2
hits. Jon Nunnally led off the inning for Pittsburgh when he doubled.
Mickey Morandini was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Rusty
Greer then cleared the fences for a two-run home run making Pittsburgh the
victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Pittsburgh won despite
being out-hit by Cincinatti 12 hits to 9.
Gabe White(1-1) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Scott Radinsky(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He
surrendered 2 hits and no walks in 1 and 1/3 innings.
