Bill North went yard and had 3 RBI as the Denver Dingers outscored the
Minnesota Loons 10 to 5.

North made sure the Denver fans enjoyed themselves. He delivered a one-base
hit resulting in a run in the 3rd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 6th inning and laced a base-hit in the 8th inning. Denver
finished with 13 hits while Minnesota ended up with 10.

Jim Barr(2-1) was the winner allowing 5 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Jim
Bibby(1-3) was tagged with the loss. He was knocked around by Denver,
allowing 7 hits and 5 walks in 4 innings.

Denver won for the 6th straight time. Chris Kaufman was upset but
philosophical about the loss. 'Sometimes you run into a team that's on a
roll. This was one of those times.'
