Third baseman Chuck Dressen had 2 base hits at The Looney Bin where the
Minnesota Loons beat the Mid-World Bumblers by the score of 4 to 2.

Dolf Luque(3-1) pitched well for Minnesota in their victory. He went 8
innings allowing 6 hits and 1 walk dropping his ERA from 3.30 to 2.84.
Mid-World threatened in the 9th but Minnesota was able to put down the rally.

Watty Clark was credited with his 5th save. Willie Powell(2-1) suffered the
loss. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his 5
innings of work.

Wayne Wilson was in a contemplative mood after the tough loss, 'It is really
hard to lose this kind of a game. It may seem weird to some, but it is
easier to take the occasional blow-out loss. It is the ones that just barely
get away that hurt so much - like this one!'
