TEAM RISP- Time Lords: 4 for 12 Bichipoos: 2 for 8
Jason Kendall had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Cinergy Field as the Gallifrey Time
Lords staged a comeback win over the Pittsburgh Bichipoos by the count of 8
to 5.
Gallifrey came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning when they
came up with 4 runs on 2 hits. Pittsburgh was set down quietly in the bottom
of the 9th.
John Frascatore(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and
allowing 2 runs. John Franco earned the save, his 3rd. Chuck McElroy(0-1)
took the loss in relief.
Danny Murtaugh was understandably not very talkative after his team's tough
loss. He quickly showered and changed and when asked about the game had a
terse, yet polite response, 'Hey fellows, that game was a heart-breaker to
lose. Our guys gave it their all and played well - fate just wasn't smilin'
on us tonight'
