David Justice slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI as the St Paul Saints outscored
the Bristol Blasters 8 to 7.
Mark Wohlers(1-0) was the winning pitcher with a solid relief performance. He
allowed just 1 hit and no walks in 1 inning lowering his ERA to 2.08. St
Paul took care of Bristol with no trouble in the 9th.
Darren Dreifort recorded his 1st save. Steve Reed(0-1) was tagged with the
loss in relief. Mark Resenbrink was just happy to get a win, 'We've had such
a bad streak of games -- boy, it's great to get the monkey off our back. Now
maybe we can relax a little and play the kind of baseball of which we are
capable.'
