In a lop-sided win the Pinch Quicks tallied 6 runs in the 8th inning and
ripped the Bristol Blasters by a 10 to 4 count.
Pinch won the game with a rally in the 8th inning when they tallied 6 runs on
4 hits. The highlight belonged to Jim Edmonds who thrilled the crowd when he
launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun. Pinch
banged out 10 hits on the afternoon.
Arthur Rhodes(1-0) went 2 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Mark
Guthrie(1-1) was the loser in relief. He surrendered 3 hits and 2 walks in 1
